I've shared my love of H&M on my blog a lot and while I find their sizing a bit hit and miss, they have the best range of basics on the high street. I love pairing a simple t-shirt with jeans for a casual look so I thought i'd share a few of the new pieces i've bought to give my wardrobe an update.
I picked up a black and white stripy t-shirt (£7.99) as I have nothing in my wardrobe that's striped and i've been loving the trend recently. It's cropped with a high neck and long sleeves so i'll probably wear it with a pair of high waisted jeans for a casual look or add some jewellery and heels if i'm going out for some drinks.
The grey t-shirt (£14.99) looks quite basic but I chose it because it's made with silk so it's really good quality. It was slightly more expensive than i'd normally pay but I love the soft material and its slightly longer length, which means I can wear it with leggings without them being too revealing!
I bought a white t-shirt in the same style as the grey one but its see-through so i'll be returning it. I've bought so many white t-shirts and returned them for this reason, so if anyone can recommend somewhere that I can get one that isn't really thin in a nice style please let me know!
H&M always have a good selection of jewellery so I bought some silver rings (£3.99) as I find that their ring sizes usually fit me better than other high street shops. They also came in rose gold but I already have lots of jewellery in that colour so I chose silver for a change! I also bought a set of black and gold bracelets (£7.99) which are a really nice style for summer. They were quite expensive for what they are but I love the colours as they'll go with everything. A few of them are adjustable which is perfect as I have quite small wrists so hopefully they won't fall off either!
And finally I bought a Coconut Water Face Mask (£1.99) which I thought i'd try as I loved the packaging and i've been quite impressed with high street beauty offerings recently. This mask is designed for dry skin so i'm hoping it will be a nice treat for my skin as Coconut Water is good for keeping you hydrated. I think there are a few scents for different skin types so if you've tried any of them please let me know!
