I love the Shopaholic series of books! I've just finished reading them all one after the other and i'm now reading some of Sophie Kinsella's other books. I also watched Confessions of a Shopaholic on DVD after I had read them - the characters weren't anything like how I imagined them so i'm glad I watched it after I read the books.
I couldn't really choose a favourite as they're all quite different but I would definetly recommend them if you haven't already read them. I love how they can make you laugh and make you cry and they keep you hooked so you never want to put them down.
I bought mine from ASDA as they were on an offer for 2 for £8 but you can also find them on Amazon for a good price too. If you haven't read these then what are you waiting for? You won't be disappointed!
I'm also really excited for the new book in the series which I think is called Mini Shopaholic and is out around September this year. Are there any similar books to these that you'd recommend?
I've read most of them, they are amazing aren't they!! So addictive! <3
ReplyDeleteI have also read them, so much fun loved it! :)

ReplyDeleteI almost always get disappointed when I see the film version of a book, especially if it's a book I really love! Never comes close to what my imagination has pictured :) Guess it's like that for everybody.
ReplyDeleteNever read these books though. May give them a go seeing as you liked them so much :)

I love these books, have also read them all and they actually make me LOL! I think they're easy reading, and I don't read a lot, so it's always good.

I read the first 2 of the series. I need to catch up!
ReplyDeleteMarian Keyes' books are quite similar (they all feature 20- o 30-something charachters, and deal with friends, work, love...). I like all of them, but my favorite is 'Sushi for beginners'.
These books are just the best - cant wait for the new one.
ReplyDeleteYou hav a blog award waiting :)
