Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

Liz Earle Toner

I've recently added the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic* into my skincare routine and thought i'd share how i'm finding it. I don't normally use a toner so I wasn't sure if it would make a difference to my skin but so far i'm really enjoying it! I currently use it together with the Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Skin Repair Moisturiser in the Liz Earle range which will hopefully give my skin the full benefits of using a full range of products.

The first thing I loved about this was the bottle. At first it appears to be a screw-top but actually after twisting it a little nozzle pops out of the lid. This makes it so much easier to use as you get get lots of control thanks to the clever nozzle it's hard to waste it so it will last a long time. It's really easy to use and I just needed a few squirts on a cotton pad.

This toner smells really fresh like the rest of the Liz Earle range and feels hydrating on the skin. I like to use it at night to get any final bits of make up off (although the Cleanse and Polish does a good job!) and I find that it's the kind of scent that is calming so it's perfect to use just before I go to sleep.

This is probably one of the best toners i've used as others have been quite harsh and drying on my skin so it's definitely the toner I would choose to use. Although I really like it I don't think toners make a huge difference to my skin so it's not a product I will repurchase. I do think it's good value for money as this bottle has hardly gone down even with daily use so i'd recommend it to anyone that regularly uses a toner as part of their skincare routine.

The Instant Boost Skin Tonic retails at £14.50 for 200ml and is available from the Liz Earle website.
