The Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator* is something i've always wanted to try as I find exfoliators work really well at improving my dry skin. Originally I was using Flake Away by Soap&Glory and the St Ives Apricot Scrub. The main difference between these and the Liz Earle exfoliator is that it is very gentle. The beads in it aren't tiny but they are softer than the Soap&Glory ones which have more of a 'sand-like' texture. I mainly use exfoliators to give my skin a deeper clean and to remove dry skin so I wasn't sure if I liked it initially.
For me this exfoliator is perfect for when my skin needs a lighter exfoliation that isn't as harsh as the St Ives one. Like the other products in the range, I really like the scent of this and it is also really creamy so it feels like you are giving your skin a treat when you use it and is similar to the Cleanse and Polish. The pump is quite generous so I don't this would last long if you used it regularly but it's a lovely product that I like to use once a week. I probably wouldn't repurchase this as I think it's a little bit expensive in comparison to similar products i've tried, but it would make a great present for someone who loves skincare and is looking for a luxury treat.
The Gentle Face Exfoliator retails at £15.75 for a 70ml pump from the Liz Earle Website.
