I've been loving how the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish makes my skin feel, so today I thought i'd review the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate*. When I first tried this I wasn't sure exactly how it worked as i'd never really tried anything similar to it before. The Liz Earle website says 'Apply sparingly and massage gently into face and neck two to three times a week, or as often as needed. for an intense boost, or use alone to help balance and soothe dry or stressed skin.'
It is designed to be more of a luxury night time facial oil to give your skin a natural boost. The website also says that it can be used to rebalance combination skin so this is something that would appeal to me. You only need one pump as the oiliness means it is easy to cover your face so I can tell this bottle will last me a long time. It has quite a strong natural scent with hints of citrus which is from the variety of natural oils in it including lavender chamomile and avocado and really reminds me of the type of products you get in spa treatments so it feels quite luxurious to use.
The morning after using this I noticed that the dryer areas of my skin weren't as bad and my nose wasn't as oily so I think it is quite beneficial for the skin. It sinks into the skin really nicely and there were no traces of oil left and the scent wasn't noticeable either.
Although this product is really nice to use it is only something I would use occasionally so I probably wouldn't repurchase it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to give their skin an occasional night-time treat as it's like a spa facial at home! The Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate retails at £42.75 for a 28ml bottle from the Liz Earle Website.
