I thought i'd do my nails a bit different this week as i've just started study leave and I couldn't be bothered to revise! I was inspired by a really pretty floral print nail design on tumblr so I decided to try and do something similar. I used quite a few different polishes but it only took me as long as it would to do to create a design using Konad.
For the base colour I used No17 Mint Choc Chip - I only needed 2 coats and it dried really nicely
For the flowers I used No17 Knockout Red & Collection 2000 Hot Looks in Hoola Hoop
For the leaves I used Barry M Mint Green & No17 Twist. I also made a darker green by adding No17 Seabreeze to some No17 Twist.
For the top coat I used ELF's clear polish
To create the design I just used an old lip brush - I wasn't that bothered about making it really neat- I just liked the colour combination!
How creative! They look lovely, very summery. I have No17 mint choc chip, did you find you needed to apply quite a few coats? I did! xx
