I don't do a lot of posts where I share the love for one particular product but I thought this one deserved it. I blow dry my hair after every wash which is usually every other day and then I straighten it afterwards. I've been doing this for as long as I can remember as I have really thick hair and leaving it to dry naturally is impossible! I know all that heat isn't good but i've been lucky as my hair hasn't shown any sign of damage. It's also quite long at the minute so blow drying it is the only way of getting it dry in a reasonable amount of time. I often find that after straightening my hair it begins to curl once i've been outside and it also goes a bit frizzy. By the end of the day my hair has completely lost it's shape and looks wavy, especially at the front.
I started using the Charles Worthington Frizz Smoothing Leave-In Spray as I got it in a gift set and wanted to see if it would work for me. It is really easy to use; you simply spray it on the ends of damp hair and then style as you normally would, so I blow dry it and then straighten it. It makes a huge difference to the way hair looks and I think it's really noticeable. My hair stays exactly as I styled it all day and even when I go outside in wind (and snow!) it still stays perfectly straight. I'm not sure if this product is available in a bigger bottle but at £1.80 for 50ml from Boots it's really affordable and is something i'll continue to repurchase. Let me know your hair must-haves :)

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great product. I love travel sizes as they're so cheap and a great way to try out products. I don't really use any products on my hair, I probably should but I'm really lazy when it comes to my hair. Batiste dry shampoo is a must-have though! x
ReplyDeleteI might consider that product - i have incredibly frizzy hair lol x

ReplyDeleteI use John Frieda to tame my frizz when it does get a bit wild.. I've never really tried anything else but this seems really good! Does is smell nice? xx
ReplyDeleteI usually don't use hair products because 1) i'm quite lazy and 2) my hair is pretty frizz free but recently i have noticed my hair has been a bit frizzy on the top. dont know why, so i might consider this product! thanks for sharing :)
