Oh This Has Gotta Be The Good Life

.1. After 18 years without them, on Thursday I found out I needed glasses. I knew I needed them so it wasn't a surprise but it has meant that I spent yesterday trying out countless pairs of glasses in the hope of finding some I liked. I still haven't chosen a specific pair but I know what styles I like so it shouldn't be too difficult although they're all really expensive!

.2. It's Parsley's 3rd Birthday today, I can't believe she's 3 already! It only seems like a few months since we got her as a tiny fluffy bunny! She's still as grumpy as ever but she did let me hold her the other day so I know she loves me really ;)

.3. I'm so happy to finally have a week off 6th Form so I can just relax for a bit! I don't have a lot planned but i'm going away for a couple of days and then i'd like to fill the other days with lots of baking, shopping and nice things to make the most of my time. I've been inspired by this blog to set a goal for each day which i'm hoping will make me a bit more productive. Today's goal was to clean out the fish tank which is something i've been putting off for far too long! I'm pleased to say i've done it though and the fish are enjoying their clean tank too :)

♥ A few to follow: I want to thank GeorgieEmma and Honey for their support on Twitter on Wednesday. I'm currently writing a very honest post about it which will be up in the next couple of days.

  1. Choosing glasses is always a nightmare, I have spent so many hours with my mum trying to find a pair for her! Luckily I don't need them, I'd be in trouble as glasses do not suit me at all!
I agree, Adele's performance at the Brits was AMAZING!

  2. Glasses are so bloody expensive!! Even the trimmings such as protective layers all add up boo! I bought mine from boots, after hours and hours of searching, those boots points sure made up for it though :P

  6. Good luck with choosing glasses - I spent so long chosing mine a couple of years ago and I'm still not entirely sure that I like them! x

  7. I was 9 when I got my first pair of glasses. I hate them and I'll only wear them when absolutely necessary, such as driving, watching TV etc. I'm always loosing them too!

I'm due an eye test soon, so no doubt I'll be in your position, trying to pick out a new pair. Such a pain and so expensive! x

  8. Check http://www.glassesdirect.co.uk for glasses. I use them and they are SO MUCH cheaper than the high sreet and I have ordeered about 6 pairs from them now, including sunglasses. Never had a problem.

They often have offers on too, BOGOF etc. so you can have a choice of about 5 pairs of glasses for the price you'd be paying for 1 from the high street!

They offer a free home trial service too, you can get four sent to you to try out :)

Good luck in finding a pair!

  9. Good luck choosing glasses! I think you will know as soon as you put the right pair for you on. But you must try on all the silly ones as well, just in case. Every time I go I can't resist trying on the children's harry potter glasses :P

  10. Idk if it's still the same as I haven't got new glasses since leaving college but if you get them from Specsavers you should get them free as you're a college student. Or get a voucher thing which means designer lenses are only £25 :)
