.1. I watched 24 Hours In A&E on Wednesday (as always) and this particular episode really made me value my life. There was a man who fell from a ladder onto his head and ended up with a serious brain injury. He went from being a perfectly normal person living an everyday life to being unable to do anything for himself. It really made think about how that could just happen to anyone and how precious life really is. The man actually made a miraculous recovery after two months which really surprised me but it was just one of those things that really makes you think. .2. On Thursday I finally started decorating my room. It's actually been mainly preparation - all the old paint and border have gone and my room is completely bare (i'm loving how much space there is now!). With my Dad's help we've just painted the first coat so hopefully in a week's time we'll be nearly finished although i'm still on the hunt for a few bits of furniture and accessories before it will be perfect!

.3. Everyone seems to be getting all Harry Pottered out this week but sadly im not. Unfortunately me and Harry never really got on. It's just not my kind of thing - i'm one of those people who likes realistic things so I just don't get all this magic related stuff. I tried to read the first book but just couldn't get into it and then I saw a couple of the films and didn't really enjoy them - it's the same with things like Doctor Who and Pirates of the Caribbean. I do want to like them and I have tried but it's just not going to happen, it's probably why I live for things like 24 Hours in A&E instead!
