Count Your Blessings, Don’t Look Back

I was tagged by Emma to do this post which has been floating around the blogosphere for the past few months. I was really interested in doing it as I don't really think about the overall amount that I spend on makeup. I'm more of a drugstore lover so the final cost did surprise me as it's still quite a lot which i'd love to splurge on other things! I've used the amount it would cost me if I was to repurchase each product so it does work out a bit more than what I paid to begin with as I know I used a No7 voucher and some of the products were on 3 for 2.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse - £7.69
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - £18
17 Blusher in Bramble Frost - £4.30
Benefit It Stick - £17 (Discontinued)
ELF Eyebrow Kit - £3.50
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara £8.99
Burt's Bees Beeswax Lipbalm - £3.56
No7 Lipstick in Grace - £10

Total Cost: £81.22

Obviously with this I haven't included things like brushes or cleansers so this is just the makeup. I don't wear eyeshadow every day but if I did i'd need to add in the cost of a primer and either my Sleek Storm Palette or a couple of No7 Eyeshadows.

  1. It does all add up when you look at it like that doesn't it? I too usually just buy bits from Boots (often just whatever's on offer!) but when you add it all together it does get quite expensive. I use that 17 blusher too, I really like it!
