After my obsession with making Salmon En Croute I ended up with quite a bit of spare Puff Pastry so I set about trying to find a recipe to use it up. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I knew I wanted to make something for a dessert so I headed over to FoodGawker to find some inspiration.
I found this recipe for Easy Apple Tart which sounded (and looked!) so good so I decided to make it.
To put it simply you roll out your pastry, finely chop some apples, layer them over, sprinkle them with cinammon and brown sugar and bake in the oven at about 200°c for around 20 minutes.
I was so pleased with the final result especially as it was so effortless to make. And yes, it did taste as good as it looks ;)
This looks so yummy! :)
