This Is Where My Heart Takes Over

.1. I'm still enjoying uni life and this week has been quite good. We pulled some crazy pranks on the flat below us but they got us back by filling our letterbox with baked beans and throwing washing up liquid over us! I've also been to McDonalds far too many times this week and it's been around 3am every time i've been! I definitely need to start eating healthily especially as I have no excuse as we've got a new oven.

.2. I can't say i'm enjoying my course though, I know it's only been an introductory week but it's been quite boring and i'm really hoping it will improve and stop being as crap as sixth form was! I have three textbooks to buy and they're all £40 each which is just stupid! I've had a search online but I can't really find them much cheaper even when they're used.

.3. I'm really really missing blogging properly and reading all my favourite blogs. When uni settles down a bit and i'm not out 5 nights a week i'll hopefully have the chance to write something decent! I'm trying to put together some photos from freshers to share as i'm sure you'll all have a good laugh at the stupid things i've been getting upto ;)

  4. i found the first couple of weeks of my course abit dull last year, but it soon picks up! Check out this website. I buy most of my uni books on here and they tend to be cheaper: http://www.abebooks.co.uk/ xx

  8. Is there maybe any noticeboards around campus with last years students selling their books? Hope your course gets better, it can be a lot to take on board at first whilst you find your feet. x

  9. I hated the cost of text books - i got by with trying to get them from the library and photocopying the hell out of them! Hope university picks up for you soon x

  10. Use your uni library and decide which books are the most important! I wasted so much money on textbooks I never used in 1st year! By 2nd year I just got them out of the library as soon as an essay was set and keep renewing them until I'd finished it.
