.1. I've just got back to my flat at uni after 3 weeks at home. Part of me is really glad to be back and the other part isn't as i've had a really nice break with all my favourite people. I'm really hoping the next term will fly by as i'm in no way motivated to do any work for it at all! I've brought so much back to my flat and i'm having a nightmare trying to unpack it all especially as no one seems to know if we have uni tomorrow so I don't know if I need to do my work!!.2. I went out for a meal to Prezzo last night with my family for my brother's birthday. We shared some pizzas and then I had Strawberry Eton Mess Cheesecake which was really nice. I definitely made the most of the meal as it's the last decent meal i've had now i'm back at uni!
.3. I'm slightly worried about how fast time is going; when I was younger everything seemed to take forever but the fact that i've finished a term at uni and that its 2012 seems really surreal. I need to start making the most of every minute before I start to regret it although i'm still smiling thinking about my night out last week for new year!
♥ of the week: Angry Birds - in one word: addicted.
♫ I'm currently listening to: Rebecca Ferguson - Nothing's Real But Love and Nicole Scherzinger - Casualty
There's no worse feeling than returning back to Uni after the Christmas break, no matter how much you love Uni haha! I've just got back to my house and can't shake the holiday blues! Hope you're well Caz, so jealous of your Prezzo meal!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you! Sometimes we all have to take the time to stop and think about what's important in life. We only have a certain time in this world and we have to spend every second possible with all our loved ones. :D

I feel the same way about how fast the time is going by, every time I see or write the date I'm shocked that it's actually 2012! x
ReplyDeleteThat cheesecake sounds divine! Second term is so boring compared to the first, or it was for me anyway. Drags out too long with Easter and whathaveyou. Summer beckons though!

I'm going back to my flat at uni this week too, I'm really looking forward to seeing my friends again but at the same time I want to stay at home for a bit longer! I can't believe it's 2012 already either - I graduate this year, eeep! :S

Agree totally with point three - time really does go so fast. I remember thinking that in second year of university about freshers and now six years later it actually still feels like yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel about uni! xxx
