Strive To Be Happy And Live To Believe

I suppose you could say 2011 is the year that I changed. I'm a completely different person to the one that was sitting here a year ago writing this post. Being at university for the past 4 months has given me so many opportunities and I feel a lot more confident and happier in myself thanks to the fresh start.

Last night I went back to my uni flat because living in the middle of nowhere is a nightmare when you need to get back! I celebrated New Year with one of my friends and as my flat is within walking distance of town there weren't any ridiculous taxi fares to pay :) Despite seeing a girl get hit by a car on our way out, we still managed to have a really good night and I can't wait to do it all again next year!

I don't have any new years resolutions for 2012 other than to continue being myself and to make the most of every minute of university. I haven't been the best blogger in the world over the past few months but i'm not going to sit here and promise that i'll get better as I find it so hard to find the time! If you've read my blog in 2011 or left me a comment then thank you so much for your support :)

Oh and i'm terrified of turning 20 this year... I don't like the idea of being twenty at all, I definitely don't feel like I should be anything other than a teenager! I'm sure by September i'll have got used to the idea... or at least I hope I will have!

Happy New Year!

  1. Happy new year! I tell you what, I actually cried when I turned 20 because I was so miserable about not being a teenager any more and growing up and all that - but really, it's not so bad! :) x

  3. Happy New Year :D I turned 20 last December and it was really weird, but as I expected I feel no different and still act like a teen :P I started my first year of uni in October and can understand how time consuming it is! Blogging really does have to take the back seat D:
