Model's Own Utopia & Nail Art Pen

I used to share NOTD posts really regularly but I can't remember the last time I did one so I thought i'd write one today. I'm just been to the cinema with the girls to see Ted; it wasn't as funny as I expected it to be but I still enjoyed it, mainly because haven't been to the cinema in about 6 months so it was nice to actually watch a film!

On my nails i'm wearing Model's Own Utopia, I love this colour as it's really easy to apply and the consistency and drying time are perfect too. I decided to add an aztec statement nail to each hand which I didn't end up doing too neatly but I still like the effect. I just googled aztec nails for inspiration and then used nail art pens to draw on the design. I don't know why but I prefer to look at this design from a distance as I think it looks a lot nicer than close up and the neatness doesn't matter as much!

I hope you're all having a lovely evening; i've just read that Fearne Cotton is having a baby which is so cute! Wednesday's are also my favourite TV nights - I love nothing better than catching up with 24 Hours In A&E and my new guilty pleasure TOWIE!

  1. ah it doesn't matter if it's not neat, still looks lovely! :)
I'm meant to be going to see Ted at the weekend, heard mixed reviews about it so I'm not getting my hopes up too much :P

  2. This is such a cool idea. I'm def going to try out some tribal designs on my nails. I know mine won't be very neat though!

    1. Thanks Sarah, it's not the easiest design to do although it's not too bad if you're just doing a couple of nails :) xx
