These Are The People That You Must Remember

I thought i'd write a little music post today; there have been so many songs i've been loving recently as well as a new band i've discovered so I thought i'd share them :)

Zulu Winter
This band are my new discovery. They're just the right amount of indie for me and they sound a lot like the music they play in shops like Topshop so if that's your kind of thing then you might like them. You can have a listen to all the songs on their album Language on their YouTube page - my favourites are We Should Be Swimming, Silver Tongue, Bitter Moon and People That You Must Remember.

Naughty Boy & Emeli Sande
Emeli Sande has an amazing voice and I was so happy she got the opportunity to perform at the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. Her album really shows off her talent but i'm more of a fan of the faster songs which is exactly what her collacoration with Naughty Boy is. Wonder is a song i'd love to have seen her perform at the closing ceremony!

Swedish House Mafia
Probably the oppositve to Zulu Winter, i'm loving SHM's new song Don't You Worry Child. I only really listen to chart music when i'm getting ready to go out or if i'm listening to the radio but Swedish House Mafia are a band who always make music I love. I'm so gutted they've split up; I really hope they'll change their minds as no one makes music like them!

  1. I LOVE Zulu Winter - describing them as a topshop music band is a perfect. I often think it should just be a genre of music as they do have pretty uniform playlists in terms of genre.
