For the past three(ish) years i've been using my Sigma F80 brush to apply my foundation. To begin with I had a bit of a love hate relationship with it but once i'd worked out the best way to use it it was the perfect brush. In the past few months it's started to shed to the point where i'm getting covered in hairs every time I try and apply my foundation so i've been on the hunt for a replacement. I was just going to re-purchase it but at almost £20 for a brush I thought i'd look at a few alternatives first.
I've seen the Real Techniques brushes on lots of blogs recently and I decided to purchase the stippling brush from Boots and try it out as its a bit cheaper (£11.99) and has lots of good reviews. It's quite similar to my Sigma brush but the only real difference is that it's slightly smaller so it takes a little bit longer to apply my foundation but you can be more precise. The bristles are really soft and easy to clean and I love that you can stand it up too.
I've been really impressed with the quality and price of the brush and i'm planning on treating myself to the blush brush next as mine isn't anywhere near as soft as the Real Techniques range.
This looks great. I still need to give the Real Techniques brushes a whirl xoxoxo
