Recent Favourites: Barry M, Nip + Fab and Max Factor

Its been a while since I sat down and wrote a beauty related post so I thought i'd share a few of my current favourites. By chance i've managed to pick a nice mix of products and these are all things i've been loving for the past few months so they're highly recommended!

Barry M Speedy Nail Polishes - Kiss Me Quick, Eat My Dust & Lap Of Honour (link!)
I love the Barry M Speedy Nail Polishes and i've found myself reaching for this brand over all my others. My favourite is definitely Eat My Dust which is a pastel blue shade that i've worn so much in the past few months that i'm probably going to have to buy another bottle! These nail polishes are great if you're short of time as they dry quickly in a few coats and i've never had a problem with smudging or chipping. There are lots of shades in the range and for £3.99 they're better than some of the high end brands that are three times the price! With all the 3 for 2 offers on at the minute i've got my eye on some of the darker red and purple shades for winter too.

Nip & Fab Glycolic Range (link!)
After reading lots of good things about the Nip + Fab range I thought i'd try a couple of products for myself. I definitely think it's worth spending a bit more on skincare and as a huge fan of the Origins range it was nice to find something a little bit more affordable. Both of these were on offer at Superdrug for 1/3 off (I think!) so i'd recommend having a look around for any offers before buying from the range.

I chose the exfoliating facial pads and the scrub and after using them a few times a week I noticed a real difference in my skin. I love the way they leave my skin feeling really refreshed and clean and you can tell that the glycolic acid is actually working. Out of the two I like the scrub the most as I feel like it actually works at keeping my skin clear and smooth especially when I use it with my face brush. I found that the pads do leave your skin looking a bit shiny so I tend to use them at night and then wash my face as normal in the morning but that would be my only criticism.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink (link!)
I dropped my favourite Accessorize blusher about a year ago and after falling out of love with all the others I have I decided it was about time I found a new one. I looked at every make-up stand before settling on this blusher but I wasn't expecting to love it as much I do. It's a really pigmented peachy pink shade and you only need to touch it with your brush so i'm sure it will last a while too. There are a few different colours in the range so there's something to suit everyone and they'd be perfect as part of a Secret Santa gift as they don't break the bank at £6.99 each.

  1. Great products! I have the same nail varnish in the shade pitstop (a sort of grey/lilac shade) and its super!! Also I've just started using nip+fab and they seem great, really good for the skin! Would definitely recommend the dragons blood makeup removers!
