Three Perfumes You Need To Try

I didn't know there was a National Fragrance Day (March 21st) until I saw it in a magazine but I thought i'd use it as an excuse to share three of my favourite perfumes. I'm not the best at describing scents which is probably why I haven't written about perfume properly for nearly two years so please forgive me when you read this!

giorgio perfume, elie saab perfume, estee lauder perfume

Si by Giorgio Armani
This is one of the most expensive perfumes i've ever bought but it was well worth the money. I get lots of complements when I wear it which is partly down to the scent but also because it lingers on the skin for such a long time, which means you only need a couple of sprays and it will last all day. This is a sophisticated musky vanilla scent which is perfect for wearing in an evening or for special occasions and I love the chic bottle with the gold detailing!

Le Parfum by Elie Saab
This is the most recent addition to my perfume collection and it's actually one I wanted after trying one of those annoying peel off samples you get in magazines. I tested a few of the other Elie Saab perfumes but the original one is the definitely my favourite. I'd describe it as a feminine scent as it's quite floral with notes of orange flower and jasmine.

Modern Muse by Estee Lauder
I got this for my birthday a couple of years ago after falling in love with the scent which i'd describe as a woody floral. It's another one that is quite feminine and sweet, making it perfect for day to day wear especially in the Spring and Summer months. I also really like Modern Muse Le Rouge which is a slightly spicier scent featuring red fruits which has some similarities to Si by Giorgio Armani too.

After writing this post i've realised that I actually don't have a favourite perfume as I can't pick between these three. I would say that Si by Giorgio Armani reminds me of 'me' which I know sounds a bit crazy but I think because i've only worn it for special occasions it brings back good memories. This is in contrast to Paco Rabanne Lady Million which I love but it reminds me of drinking vodka and nights out because it's the perfume I wore every time I went out at uni!

  1. I love the sound of the Giorgio Armani one. I really want to treat myself to an expensive high end perfume, I've never owned one before!
